As a veteran struggles to re-adjust to civilian life, untreated trauma turns him into a danger to the people he loves most.

DIONDRE HOWELL (late 20s) returns home from active combat at the height of the Iraq War in 2005. Over the years, he struggles to re-adjust to civilian life and begins to exhibit hypervigilant, increasingly unstable behavior as the trauma of war follows him home. Unable to find stable work or receive VA benefits due to an Other-than-honorable discharge, Diondre’s grip on reality deteriorates. As his mother searches for answers and Diondre finds brief solace in a compassionate young woman, paranoia, violence, and untreated PTSD spiral toward a devastating tragedy.
